No new temp files??

I periodically clear out the various temp files in C:\Documents and
Settings\%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp. Todays date is June 2,
2005 and I see there have been no new entries in that folder since May
16, which I find odd since the machine is used quite a bit daily. Is
that possible? I'm not noticing anything unusual behavior-wise. I
just find it strange that there's not one new temp file since
mid-May.

I see some .tmp files in my America Online 9.0\spool folder for every
day before and since but nothing in the usual temp area for non-print
stuff.

WinXP.

I checked the settings and the value location for TMP is
\%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp.
