no new fonts may be applied...

When trying to insert a new sheet into a workbook, an exclamation point message appears saying "no new fonts may be applied in this workbook." Computer then locks up and won't allow me to click [ok] or [x] to close message. Must hit [ctrl] + [alt] + [del] to quit present task.
