"No new fonts may be applied" message

Anybody know why I get this message and how to fix it. It
happens when I have a larege excel spreadsheet open and I
am copying graphs. If I go to change anything on the
graph, it says "No new fonts may be applied". I hit okay,
then it reappears several times before I can move on. Any
help would be great. Maybe I need a upgraded video card?

Hi,

Apart from (re)moving some charts there is nothing much
you can do. Each charts adds some "custom fonts" to
Excel's workspace, which has limited capacity.

Study your workbook and see if you can combine charts or
make them dynamic by basing them on ranges with formulas
that can be easily pointed to a different area.

If your problem is the same as mine, it stems from copying and pasting a single graph too many times; I believe that the limit is 7 copies, but can't seem to find where I found that answer.

So, it is laborious... but the secret is to delete the graphs (not the source data) and the re-build them to look identical to the original without being a "copy-paste" of the original. In my particular workbook, it required rebuilding about 50 graphs (line graphs with only 2 series) but it worked

Thanks, and best of luck.
