You can buy a "mounting kit" at most computer stores,
electronic shops and on-line. Retail boxed hard drives and
CD/DVDs come with parts and cables. White box or OEM drives
are cheaper because those parts don't come with the drive.

You can get mounting rails, adapters and screws from
www.cyberguys.com or from the company that made your case,
such as www.antec-inc.com

Your case should have a 3-1/2" drive bay or a 5-1/4" bay
open, but the real problem is you need an IDE port with a 80
pin cable and an available connector. You also need a 12v
power tap.

What kind of a 3 1/2 drive, where are you trying to mount it, do you have an
open 3 1/2 bay or are you trying to mount it in a 5 1/4 bay? Give details
and some one can help, but no one can with the info from this post.

If you need mounting hardware, I would suggest you try your local PC store.

Hearing your problem won't help you find your mounting hardware.
