No Microsoft Firewall, please help!

here in Bryn Mawr
Pa. Both machines PIII 1000, 512 and 1gig ram; several large drives, XP
SerPak 2
was no problema, except for this nutso anomaly. I'm not much of a
computerist but
a very good soldier. Just tell me what to do and I'll do it! Thanks very
much in advance;
am knocking on genuine mahogany.

Open Admin tools> services,right click on ICF that's the firewall and select
properties then dependantcies,all of these other services also need to be
running for the firewall to turn on.
Option 2
Install a better firewall here is a link for a good free one
