No longer able to use Dameware Remote Client after SP2

I am using Windows XP Home edition. After installing SP2, I get an error
when trying to access my work pc from my home pc using Dameware's Mini Remote
Client. I had to do a system restore in order to use the Dameware product
again. What can I do to bypass the error after installing SP2? I was
receiving "Runtime Error 5, Invalid argument or parameter passed."

It might be a conflict with SP2 or a problem with the SP2
firewall, which is enabled automatically. It's listed in
control panel and can be disabled there. Try that first.
