No logon servers available

I have a Windows 2k network with Windows 2000 Server.

The client computer have W2k. One of the computers often gets the
error "There are currently no logon servers available to service the
logon request."

One minute it is working fine, then next minute it will stop working.

Does anyone have any ideas. All TCP/IP settings are the same on both
machines.

When you get the error can you ping the FQDN of the DC?
If its sporatic we would liek to see a network trace of
the problem. This way we would see the logon request from
the client get sent out and then see what response they
recieve from the DC if any.
