hi,

first - all my lan and firewire connections are working ok. however, i can't
access any of them via start/settings, or through control panel. dev man -
shows them as working fine, etc., it's as if they're hiding from me (maybe
they know me too well?)

system is - asus pcp800e m/b (built in lan/firewire, with addition realtec
net card), intel3.4.

everything else seems to be happy.

oh! i have no sys tray icons to show connections/status either, or ability
to turn it on because of the above.?

any help most greatfully received.

thanks,

they're showing up all right under device manager, and working fine, but i'm
not getting them under start/settings/network connections, nor under control
panel/network?

i have the wizards, and my dial-up connections showing - but no lan/firewire
at all. as i wrote, they're all working okay, but i can't access them from
anywhere?

asus p4p800e m/b

thanks again,

leslie
