No knowledge base results from Help and Support searches

Even though I've checked the search option box for knowledge base in Help
and Support Center, Help and Support searches never seem to return any
results from the knowledge base.

Is there some other setting I need to make?

You need to allow internet access through your firewall. Bet that the first
time it asked you said no - don't ask me again (-:

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've checked and ZoneAlarm does not appear to
be blocking internet access to any programs that look as though they could
be involved, including Help and Support Center, Help Center Hosting Server,
Help Center Service, Help. Just to be sure, I tried with the firewall
briefly disabled - and still got no knowledge base results.

Do you have GetRight installed? Go into GetRight's options and uncheck
"IE6 click monitoring". Try H+S KB search again, it should work.

If that solves things look here for a better fix:

If not, well, I tried! Check Kelly's Corner, she's got some other H+S
fixes there. But your specific complaint is almost always GetRight...
