No keyboard/Mouse after installing Logitech 9.26 Mouseware

After installing the logitech 9.26 mouseware driver my
keyboard and mouse stopped working. I saw Microsoft
knowledge base article 256233 which talks about this
problem for 9.0, I was wondering if the solution provided
there will work for 9.26.

I had twice similar experience but the opposite way: first time, uninstalled
mouse driver, second time, uninstalled keyboard driver. Your problem might
be an incomplete installation, I doubt 256233 can do anything about it. You
need re-install the driver. But whatever you do, you have to use keyboard
and mouse which you do not have. That is quit annoying! Try to find serial
or USB mouse and USB keyboard, they are still functioning, then try to fix
the problem.
