no internet on wireless network

this is a PC and a laptop. The computers both show as connected when I click
on the wireless icon and will talk to each other etc., but i cannot connect
to the web on both machines.

I've checked everything. They were working fine at midday. At 6pm client
says no internet connectivity. I checked the following: ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /all and have good 192 address range. Checked netbios on the wifi
which is "on" as it was today. I've checked winsock. I can ping gateway,
router, everything except a name or ip address on the web.

There are no firewalls. Windows FW is off.

I've run out of ideas to troubleshoot this. Help!
 
sure would have been nice if you had posted what you did to solve the
problems as i have the same problem
 
I unplugged the modem for ten secs. Didn't work, so then I unplugged the
modem for 50 secs. That seemed to do the job.
