No images on website

Would someone please try Buy.com and see if they can get images to load? I
have tried it with IE, Mozilla, Firefox, SlimBrowser and Opera. It is the
same with each one. I get the box where the image should go and text
description with all browsers. With IE and SlimBrowser, I have a red "X"
and with Opera and the Mozilla browsers, I have an icon with a blue thing
and two fuchsia dots..

I see lotsa pictures..
The pictures are kept at a different location (ak.buy.com
instead of www.buy.com) which may be part of your problem.

1)go to http://ak.buy.com/
If you get a message saying "image server 1" then

2)try this picture DIRECTLY

If the first link does NOT work, it's totally something
icky with your security/permissions - either the network
you're on, or the ISP you use, or a firewall blocking it.

If the first link works and the second one doesn't, and
you still see pictures at other sites... then your PC is
trying to tell you not to shop there

Thanks, Rage Onyx. I didn't have to do your troubleshooting, but you solved
my problem. I have an ad-blocking hosts file ak.buy.com is included in that
file. I just toggled the hosts file off and there are indeed lotsa
pictures! I had emailed buy.com and received a response that nobody else
had reported a problem.
