no images in design view

That's it. No images will display in design view. I can view them in
preview and the images are there on the server and can be seen on the web.
This is clearly a FP issue on my computer, has anyone else had this, and any
comments on a fix?
I have ran a repair but it still comes back.

1) do you have a web open and 2) do you import the images first before inserting
them in the page?

I have had FP03 for about 6 months now and this just started approx 3 weeks
ago. Before that I had NO issue. I inserted images several different ways
with no problem.

I used to work on the site live, directly on the server, however, 3 mos ago
I started to work on the site on my computer, editing the copy, then
uploading.

No good....actually, if I turn on my computer, then go directly to FP,
everything is fine. I click save, upload to the server, shut everything
down. I do other work, open up FP later, bang no images in design view. Let
me tell you what, I freaked the first time it happened! I called the owner
and asked if he could view the images, thank God they were visible. I love
FP, but am not getting it back!

FP Design View (and Preview) relies heavily on IE
(and use of your IE Temporary Internet Files Folder - clear it)

Also try the usual repairs in the sequence below:
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
Usually in C:\WINDOWS\Temp and %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp
- in FP 2003 you need to look in the super hidden folder
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\FrontPageTempDir
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
Usually in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
3) Run a Repair on IE
(see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=318378 )
4) Install all Service Packs for your OS, IE, MS Office and your Video card
(Windows Update and Office Update sites, plus your video card supplier site)
5) Open FP and Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins,
6) Open your FP Web/Site and run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks

Patience is a virtue (-;

You posted your original question at 12:54 PM and are asking why there is no response again at 12:54 PM?

Time, like everything else is only relative to those who care. Besides,
12:54 AM here could be 2 in the afternoon somewhere else.

I was just hoping that the silence would stop sounding so loud. My kindom
for a cure to some funky glitch that I have to suffer with. Who else out
there looses patience when a problem with a program forces to stop working
and try to resolve that problem. I love to work not play computer repair man
man man.

:
Now the photogallery will not display. Could there be an issue with IE that
is affecting the operation of FP?
