A couple days ago the icons and taskbar disappeared from my computer. The
background picture is still ther,e and when I hit ctrl-alt-del the taskbar
comes up. I can use it to get to all my files and explorer but I can't get my
desktop to come back. I have tried system restore and every restore point I
try says "cannot restore...". When I do that, my desktop will appear again
but only for about 10 seconds or until I right-click on the background. I
have started my computer in safe mode and still it didn't do anything. I feel
like I have been trying everything but nothing is working. Please help!
