HELP! My screen will not go back to full size, I have tried changing the
resolution and it didn't change anything. I recently downloaded a game, which
I am pretty sure messed with the screen. How do I fix the screen without
having to delete the game? Thanks for any suggestions!

Use the buttons on the front of the monitor to resize the display.

Click 'Start' - click 'Control Panel' - click 'Appearance and Themes' -
click 'Change the Desktop Background'. This brings up the 'Display
Properties' window. Look for the 'Position' drop-down box, just under
the 'Browse' button and change the setting to 'Stretch'. Click OK then
exit control panel. Did that fix it?

Nope, my desktop background was already set on stretch. I put a different
pic on and set it to stetch again and nothing happened. I am pretty sure its
from this game I installed, but I dont know why the game would affect the
screen size. I am not ready to delete it yet, so I guess I'll just have to
deal with it or find another soultion. Thanks for your suggestion.

Sara, please verify that you have changed your resolution. Some games
automatically change the resolution so they can display properly. I ask
you to try the resolution to 800 x 600 or higher. When you change it,
apply the settings. Also, make sure that you are changing the settings
for the correct video card. I notice that you did not list if 2 monitors
show up in the display properties page. I say this because it has
happened numerous times in this newsgroup and with my clients that they
change the resolution on a port that no monitor is connected to. Please
verify the following and post back. Thanks

Okay. There are two monitors displayed. The first one is the active one because the second one didn't do anything. I tried to change the resolution above 800x600 and it just made everything small, but the black was still there. I am not quite sure where to locate my video card. The first monitor is set on "plug and play monitor mobile intel express chip family" is this it? Thanks for your help

I FIXED IT!!! WHOO!! lol. Yeah, I did it. I right clicked on the desktop and
went to graphics properties and on display options the screen was set to
aspect ratio, so I switched to full screen and wallah!! Thanks for everyone's
suggestions!
