No FTP type programs working!!!

I recently uninstalled Norton AV and have had nothing but problems since. Now
there are no ftp type programs that work.

FrontPage give me "The folder is no longer avaialbe" when I try to open a
site that I've accessed in the past and "Could not find a web server at..."
when I try to load the URL in the open site

When I try to connect using CRT I get "The remote system refused the
connection"

Just to list a two... but ALL FTP type applications refuse to connect.

Does anyone know what I can do to fix this.....?

Cheers.

Uninstall Norton completely. The uninstallation process has hosed yet
another OS installation perhaps? You may need to go so far as to re-install
it and then go to the Symantec site and dig up their uninstaller. Yes, yes
it is that bad. Friends don't let friends use Symantec products.

Thanks Galen... I KNOW!!!! I'll NEVER AGAIN use any of their products. I've
spent more than 12 hours on the phone with their tech support who by the way
are very patient and somewhat helpfull. We've done this several times...
installed and uninstalled.... any other options you see?

Thanks again
