No DVD Video Displays through VGA Output

I cannot get a DVD video to display to an external
projector through the VGA port. I see the video just fine
on my laptop LCD. I'm using the InterVideo WinDVD and have
also tried WMPlayer. Any ideas?

Hi, You need to disable hardware acceleration in WMP's options.

I also am having this problem with two different projectors. I solved the problem of no video image in Windows media player and Realplayer by lowering the acceleration level. This did not work for WinDvd or Interactual player. I too, need help. I am using a new Gateway laptop and NEC projector with XP pro. I do not have this problem with an older Sony laptop running ME. I called Gateway and they could not find a solution to our problem.
