No Detail Needed

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of designing a report that does not need the details of
the databases records rather only a calulation. For example the report wants
a total count of the records status, Pending, WIP, and Complete. I can get
the calculations to work correctly in the page footer but it leaves a huge
empty page 5 inches or so above. Is there a way to remove the detail and
only leave the calulated fields without this gap? Or is there a better way
that i just havent thought about? Thanks.
 
Just shrink the detail section down to nothing, and you're all done.
 
Aw thanks...i was putting the calculated data in the page footer instead of
the report footer! Thank you.
 
You might also be able to create a report based on a totals query so there
are no detail records.
