No connection to ftp sites

I am running XP SP2 and I cannot connect to any ftp sites. I understand
there is a setting to change in Internet Explorer but I forget where.

Can someone set me in the right direction.

Don't know if there is any connection, but I had a similar problem recently,
having just installed ADSL Broadband.

Don't know what caused it, but it all cleared up when I installed Norton
Security 2005 in place of 2004.
