i am just familiar enough w/ access to be dangerous but i don't know if it
can do these shortcuts. I'm making 6 different databases have a universal
part number. If I put the "universal" column as my primary key, I want to put
a relationship in from the six databases' part numbers lined up and have them
match up so I can see which part #s are exactly alike and which ones don't
match up w/ the primary key. Is this possible in Access? Any help would be
awesome!

Is it possible? Yes. But the burning question is, Why are you creating 6
databases, and then connecting them all?

They are already created. Each location of this company has about 25% of its
own part numbers. I'm creating a universal part number everyone has to go by.
Can somebody tell me how to link these tables and tell me which ones aren't
in the master table?
