Something has happened to cause my e-mails to be deleted once I open them. I
can read them but when I go on to the next one the last one will
automatically be deleted without me doing so. What can I do?

Are you sure that you don't have a filter applied or are looking at the
e-mails in a (unread mail) Search Folder?

I am not sure that there has not been a filter mistakenly applied, I just
don't know what to do about it.
