No at Microsoft seems to care -Can anyone help me

I am using WINDOWS XP and am getting the following error
message when I start WORD and EXCEL:
The instuction at 0x77f5171c referenced memory
at "0x01740010". The memory could not be "read". Click on
OK to terminate the program.
