Because there is a bug in OL 2007 which makes the activities view in
contacts in a public folder useless I have to go back to 2003. I am
amazed that MS would release the software with this function, which
worked in 2003, not working in the new version.

Did you try calling technical support? First call on the product is free
(and all subsequent calls for.. 30 days? 90 days? some number of days).

Just asking. I don't have an Exchange Server handy so I can't really try to
reproduce this to see what you're talking about.

Thanks, but I have a version that is from the MS Partner Program, so
they will not support it for free, they want $250 just to talk to me.

There are two possibilities, I would think. Either something is broken,
and, in that case, isn't it worth $250 to get it fixed? Or, there's a bug,
in which case your call cost should be refunded. I mean, feel free to do
whatever you want, but, if you're going to complain, I'm going to point out
that you haven't verified that it's a problem with Microsoft so maybe they
actually didn't find it in testing and would like to hear about it.

Thanks, I am not sure what the Private DirectAccess newsgroups are.
