No Alarm Symbol in Outlook 2007 Calendar - so will not buy Office

K

Kip Piper

The alarm symbol on the Outlook Calendar appointments is an important tool in
the management of my daily appointments.

Outlook 2007 does not have the alarm symbol, nor is there a place in the
Appointment window to turn on or turn off a reminder.

Because of this I will go back to Office 2003 and Outlook 2003 and WILL NOT
BUY Office 2007.

If you include the alarm symbol and its management function in the future,
then I will consider purchasing.

Outlook 2007 is at the SP2 level - new "features" will not be added at this
point.

You can turn off the reminder in an open appointment window - in the middle
of the Appointment ribbon is "Options" section and to turn off reminders you
select (or type) "none" in the reminder field in Options.
