No access to secure (https) sites

After downloading the various patches last week I now can
no longer access any secure sites. Using IE 6 Windows XP
Home Edition 128 Byte Encryption. I've seen various
posts on this. Anyone actually solved it? Resposne to my
email would be appreciated as well as post here.

Thanx that fixed it after many hours. The issue was and unregistered
DLL file. I followed the step by step directions in Microsoft
Knowledge Base Article 813444 and the step where you reregister DLL
files fixed it.

Hi Chris,
I am having similiar problems, cannot access secure
web pages like etrade.com. See the repair stems i tried in
my 8/27 post. Robert Casavant Let me know if any of these
work.
