You're asking in the wrong place. This newsgroup is for the Microsoft Office
database software Access, not for general networking questions.
NNTP is the protocol - don't remember the acronym but it's something like
Network News Transport Protocol - for newsgroup data transmission. If you
don't know what nntp is, then I'd strongly suggest that you are not in a
position to even *use* a newsgroup, much less set one up!
