Just took a quick look at the Nikon software downloads. It appears that
previous versions should be uninstalled before installing the newest
version. They also recommend updating Nikon Capture to the newest release
of version 3.
I've never used this product so can't offer any more help than relating
details that are already posted at the Nikon support site. If you continue
to have trouble with the program, suggest following this up with Nikon tech
support.
I believe that the latest version is v. 6.2.3 which works ok with xp prof
sp2. You may have to remove the previous versions and reinstall from
scratch.
Nikon has made it easier this time to download the updates. Up to now its
been difficult.
I have a cp995 with a USA warranty but the site won't accept it as such. I
had to go to Japan for the downloads.
