Nikon Coolscan 4000 APS film stuck

Hi,

I have a Nikon Coolscan 4000 and I am using it to scan some of my APS
film. I have the APS adapter for it and have succesfully scanned a lot
of pictures.

Now, today I put the APS cassette inside the APS adapter and the
scanner started to make strange noises. It appears that the film is
stuck inside. I can't open the door to the adapter and I can't take
the adapter out. I turned the scanner off so I wouldn't hear this
noise.
Does anyone know how to take the film out? Please help

I do not actually know. I do not have a Nikon Coolscan 4000.

If you are brave enough to take the scanner apart, Remove the case and look
inside and see if you can see the jam. If you can, carefully untangle the
roll.

I would suggest to seek help at a Nikon certified repair shop
and not in the newsgroup...

Than in gods name, why are you writing????

I have LS4000 and yet I have no clue how to remove a
film because this scanner does not have any manual
eject feature.
