NIC card

I have a portable pc running Windows 2000. Very often I
find the network not working. It comes from the NIC card
being disabled so I have to keep enabling it. I cannot
find a way to stop the NIC disbaling itself
automatically. Does anyone have any ideas?

hi Clive i asume your using a pcmcia NIC of osme sort in
which case goto-admintools-servies-find the -wirless zero
service- and ensure it is started and is set to automatic
not maual so that if u reboot it starts up each time
