hi,

how can I check and be shore that my nica card is in promisc mode?

In linux thats not a problem but how I don it in xp?

Providing you card support's promiscuous mode then
Windows Will use it when requested. What you trying to
do, monitor some network traffic????

Yes I need to monitor the LAN
The card is intel pro 100. I want to be shure that the card is in promisc
mode,how can I verify it ?

As far As I am aware the Intel Pro 100 does support a
Pormisc Mode, have you tried you network traffic monitor
software out to see?

Yes I tried . I can see only traffic destinated to my station. although I
know I am on a switched network I want to be shure that there is a to
confirma that the nic is in promisc mode.

I linux I can see it whan I issue the command ifconfig -a
