NIC card gets shut down all the time

I have a smnall net work with Macs and other PC's. I use
PC McLan for the Mac's. I running XP on an IBM
Intellistation and 2k on another pc. The problem seems to
be that my NIC card is put to sleep after acertain perion
of time. I have checked all my power options and advaned
setttings and cannot find anything referring to the NIC
card. When I restart the computer I can get right back on
my network.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Hey snob it's not the mac that's the problem it is the XP
machine. Don't write unless you can read!!
