Newsreader won't load not found in Go command menus

I can't get the newsreader to load consitently. I have a news command on my
toolbar but it loads a system MAPI directory. I used the help file and tried
the steps to load news into the Go menu. It isn't where the help file
indicated it would be in the Go command menu.

Alternately you can do what I do and just create a shortcut on your Start
menu that starts Outlook Express (which is what Outlook's calling for news)
in a mail-less mode:
"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /outnews
