NEWS ICON--I WANT TO SET UP A NEWS GROUP BUT I DO NOT HAVE A NEWS ICON TO
DRAG TO THE "GO" MENUE

Try typing in lower case. Using CAPS is considered shouting. Anyway try this
below

To get your the News button command button back, go to the Programs \Control
Panel \
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you open it
then
clear the "Always perform ..." and then click the No
button.
