It sounds like you have used Grokster or Imesh, or have
the software installed on your system for P2P.....Good old
spyware......... Download Spybot (spyware remover)off the
internet (its free and a great program). Also download a
program called "LSP Fix" as you may need it.
After downloading Spybot and installing the software....do
an immediate update to get the latest files..... run
spybot to remove all those nice little programs that like
to track your activity..... and remove them.
Next, if after you remove your spyware.... i had a problem
where my Internet Explorer could not reconnet to the
internet..... it lost some of the layered
communication... ..I am not a pro....just know from
experience as i had to figure it out for myself.
Anyway, if this happens you need to restore the "Layer
Socket Protocol"; hence, LSP Fix. If you cannot get back
on the internet.... running LSP fix will resolve the
problem. It fixes the broken links in the program.
