Newbie - some hints please

I've developed a few simple slide shows in PP97 but this one is more
challenging.
I'd like your ideas on how to do it.

I've got a CD from one of the sermons of my church's pastor.
I've converted the CD tracks (voice) to Wav files.
I now have 17 wav files and 21 slides.

I'd like to make a PP presentation from this.

Most of the slides and wavs would be set up to show and begin at the same
time; however there are cases where a slide will be current and there may by
two or more wav files that I'd like to play while the one slide is visible.
I don't think there's a case where I would have one wav file active that
would cover more than one slide.

Would you be so kind as to give me some hints on how to get started on this
and how to integrate the slides and wavs?

Thanks in Advance,
Doug

The least complicated would be to insert a duplicate slide. If it looks the
same, then no one will be able to tell that you started a new slide and
sound.

1 slide, 1 sound (and a couple of slides without sound). The drawback to
this is that it will make your presentation file bigger. Is this going to
be downloaded, or available on CD or from a stand alone kiosk, or will the
pastor get to preach to hymnself this week?

Thanks Bill,
That sounds like it would work out ok.
I plan to make a CD and give to my children.

And, who knows, he may preach to himself (or hymnself) - that's good.
