I understand that FBA can do some Machine/User-Specific One-Time
Installation tasks. Consider this case:
I'm creating a run-time image to be deployed on several similiar machines
(rather same machines). Lets say that I created this image and then booted a
mchine with the image. So the FBA runs. Now my XPE is running on machine.
I've to integrate many third party applications with the image. To save
myself trouble of *componentizing* the 3rd party components, I install the
3rdParty programs on the running XPE image. Now I take the image (bit by bit
snapshot) of the Partition and deploy this onto other machines.
Should doing so work? NO? Why not? Somehow YES? How? Any clues?
TIA
