Now can you explain to me what has this got to do with spyware
announcements let alone you are not promoting MicrOsoft Products?

Do you understand simple rules and can you read simple instructions?

You are a TROLL.

do you know how to read?
did you not read what the webpage says?
"VirusRay is the latest in a long series of rogue anti-spyware programs

SPYWARE PROGRAMS- this site is for ALL that deal with spyware and this
newsgroup is to announce all kinds of spyware or program updates dealing
with spyware/

" that are installed via the use of Trojans and other malware. These
programs are installed by Trojans, called Zlob infections, that impersonate
audio or video codecs that you are required to install in order to watch or
listen to certain media. In reality, though, when you install these programs
they instead download and install rogue anti-spyware programs on to your
computer and display fake security alerts"

Do I have to explain what this paragraph says? or do you need to go back to
school and learn how to read?

maybe you do not realize it and maybe you have not been here since this
forum was created but we announce not just microsoft spyware updates but we
all felt it is important to put all updates to all programs that deal with
spyware and antivirus programs.
We have had representitives in here from microsoft who have no problems with
it, so why should you?

I have personally spoken to a few microsoft defender techies who have come
in here and asked if it was a problem and they were all for it.

I shouldn't feed the troll, I know, but please let me just say that it has
long been customary for us to discuss any and all methods of fighting
malware in this newsgroup. I would think that if Microsoft sees another
solution to a problem, they might have some ideas of their own.

BTW, capslock day was yesterday.

You may have very little experience with community. Communities, whether
online or real physical neighborhoods, or workplaces, have unique
characteristics, including their oddball characters. You are definitely
contributing an oddball character, but not one that seems to make folks more
comfortable.

These groups are for the support of Microsoft technologies, but there's room
on the servers, and in the minds of most people here, for some breadth of
content.

You've managed one entirely appropriate and helpful post today - keep up the
good work!

No there is no room for any other technologies. there are specialist
groups dedicated for those technologies you are interested in. These
newsgroups are only for Microsoft Defender. PERIOD.

I HOPE YOU WILL OBSERVE THESE SIMPLE RULES WHETHER OR NOT YOU ARE MOST
VALUABLE PIG.

Hi Bill.

Wow!! Now the guy 2 below here is getting rather personal - how very sad.
Your tolerance of the infantile I find most admirable and I peronally thank
you for the untiring and stalwart advice you have provided us with since I
first found ths NG some three years ago - that, of course, goes for Engel
too. BTW, what has been the one constructive post he has made on here today
or any other for that matter? Please enlighten me ..... OR has my anger at
the comments over shadowed my sense of humour?

I won't go look it up, but there was a post asking for advice on an
unrelated Microsoft technology, and he referred the O.P. to a group directly
related to that product without either name calling or other histrionics.

I have my own theory about what this poster is doing here, but I won't post
it publically. I would recommend that others avoid responding to these
posts, even though I've given in to temptation a few times and done so
myself.

Thank you Bill. Your response tells me all I want or need to know with regard
the post in question.
