Hi,
I have just purchased the XPe toolset and Partition Magic 8.
From my Sony notebook I have created a 256MB NTFS Primary Partition (seen as
F: drive). I have run TAP.EXE to generate a .PMQ file for my Sony. Run
Component Designer to create a Devices.SLD component. Used Target Designer
to create a new project, added Devices, set properties to relate to F: drive
with 256MB and correct cluster size. Made laptop multi-boot by changing
BOOT.INI.
Booted into the F: drive with XPe image.
Everything looks promising.. XPe splash followed by running of First Boot
Agent. FBA announces "INSTALLING COMPONENTS" a couple of times then BLACK
SCREEN and Notebook re-boots??

Any ideas ????

Bernie Fowler.
