New words to add to the dictionary

When my youngest Aaron (3) gets dirty and wet/sweaty depending on the weather i call him "Scruppy" , he relates this to having to go for a bath , i relate it to him being very grubby and dirty. I have googled scruppy and found no definative meaning, my question is do others have a "word" that relates to a situation that is not in the dictionary or is there a meaning for scruppy ??
