New Windows

Hi, could somebody please help with what I am sure is a minor setting
problem.

I can't open a new window fron a link on a page. I can open a new default
page but say for example I have BBC news open I cant oppen a new item in a
separate page I can only open it in the old page. Deleted cookies and temp
files. Driving me mad!

Is it just a setting?

Hi,
From IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing> uncheck "Reuse windows
for launching shortcuts."

Which version of Internet Explorer? The Yahoo toolbar caused this problem
for some users with IE6. I don't know if it still causes the problem with
IE7. If the Yahoo toolbar is installed, uninstall it.

Another toolbar, browser add-on, pop-up blocker, security/privacy program
could be causing this problem. Disable third-party programs of that type
until the problem goes away.

A firewall will probably not be causing this problem, but *be sure* to turn
on the Windows Firewall from Control Panel> Windows Firewall before
disabling a third-party firewall or security suite during testing.

Hope this helps,
Don
