New Vista PC can't connect to (map) path on server.

Hello,

I have 2 PC, one with Vista Home Basic, and one with XP pro.
I use a VPN connection to log into a win 2003 server on work.
Everything works ok with the XP pro PC.
I use a bat file to map a path on the server, but on the Vista PC I get
error 53 (path not found) and it is impossible to map the path.
I can ping the server by IP from both PC's.

I hope someone can have a clue to fix this problem.

Regards, Gunnar.

Hello, thanks for the answer.
I use IP, but the new Vista PC will not connect.
We have tried with Vista on diffrent PC's but but so far we had to go back
to XP.

What happens if you just browse to \\servername (or \\ipaddress)? My
guess is that you have a password problem that isn't being shown by
your script...
