New Versions of Excel

Would it be possible to make the next version of excel to include side
headers and footers? ie left side headers and right side footers to include
drop down filters for rows just like you do for columns?
 
Perhaps, but this is just a user to user newsgroup that resides on a
server owned by Microsoft.
