Same concept with AV software. You do the updates there,
it doesn't update the software versions, just the
definitions and some minor flaws. If you have Norton 2004
and do the updates, you don't get Norton 2005.
Which would you say is smarter? I would say Spyware, since these little
buggers have a way of hiding themselves with being detected even after a
scan. Viruses too, but the difference is with Spyware, you can still have
definitions and they hidden in the system.
