windows mail- I set my contacts up into groups.
When sending a new e-mail I open "Contacts" sellect e-mail and my groups
appear.
Thats good.
Problem is - if I "forward" an e-mail. The "select recipients" window
opens and all my contacts are listed without group format. My old "Outlook
Express program" shows the "select recipients "window, where I can select a
group .
Vista , windows mail doesn't show that box where I can select a group.

So, the question is, when "forwarding" how can I select a "group"

Not easily. This is a shortcoming in Windows Mail, which has been
fixed in the newer Windows Live Mail, to which you are welcome to upgrade:

The only workaround for WM is to start a new email, add the group you want,
then copy/paste that group into the To field of the forwarded email.

Thanks Gary, your response is much appreciated. I'll try your fix. Probably
the live mail due to my need. On occassion I filter a few names from my
group which makes the cut and paste impractical. I'm still happy to know
that I havn't missed the obvious.

In Windows Live Mail when you put a group on the To line, it immediately
expands the group so you can delete some recipients.
