When I try to add a network connection;the only options are my workgroup or
my MSN places;which eventually leads to my shared folder on MSN. Is there a
way to add more stuff(i.e. servers etc.) or am I stuck in my own little lan?
Any help would be appreciated. Even to point me to a good article about XP
Pro and networking.. I want out of my little corner of the web :-)

You will only be able to access servers, ftp sites, computers and data bases
if you are invited, know the network address and password, and know how to
set up the network connection. If you think Sony or Microsoft or Google are
going to let you into their corporate network, think again. Not gonna
happen.

But I'm sure you know that. You'd be surprised how many people think you
can just log on to the network at some company and start browsing their
data. They've been watching too many movies.
