Greetings.

I just moved from Windows 2000/Front Page 2000 to Windows XP/Front
Page 2003. I do some editing work on the company web page. Before, I
would open Front Page, go to "file", then "open" and when I type
"http://www.mywebsite.com" I was asked for a password and could then
see all of the files in my web.

Now, with FP2003, if I go to file, open and type
"http://www.mywebsite.com" I am asked for a password, but the window
that comes up shows no files to access. If I type the address of a
file, say, "http://www.mywebsite.com/index.htm" it opens the file I
want. It shows all of the files in my web in the folder list view.
However, if I go to file, open, the box that shows up does not show
any files or folders to select. Similarly, if I right click a cell on
a table and go to browse for a picture to serve as a background for
that cell, the window that comes up does not show any files or folders
to choose, even though there are files and folders in the folder it
claims to be showing.

Any help? I need to be able to actually see the files in my web in the
open files dialog box.

I'm accessing a Windows 2000 IIS server that is located on the DMZ of
the company firewall.

Open a web first by going to File/Open Site.
I have tried it both ways. When I go to open site, I do get an extra
little "connecting to web server" message briefly, but once I'm in, I
still do not see any files if I go to file open or browse to a file
from, say, cell properties (to define a background).

Use File / Open Site, NOT: File / Open
