New template accidently aplied globally and effects all old saved

Seems I have stuffed up big time. I printed some labels for the first time
the other day, and since then every letter I have ever written and saved
prints differently now to what it did originally. Specifically, the font of
all text appears slightly larger, and my header and footer have moved
position so some is cut off the page.

Does anyone know what it is I did, and how I can fix it. I just want to be
able to print a letter I did say 6 months ago and have it print the same way
today as it did then. Their are heaps of letters effected so would take too
long to adjust each one.

Maybe I can set up another template and somehow apply it globally to all new
AND OLD docs?

Can anyone help?

Try replacing your normal.dot. See
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/AppErrors/BlankDocNotBlank.htm.
Then go into each of your documents and make sure that under Tools >
Templates and Add-Ins the option to "update styles from template" is _not_
checked. If you are actually creating new letters from your old, use
templates instead of old documents.
