New slave hard frive doesn't show in 'My Computer'

Have just brought a new WD 320 GB hard drive to use as a slave for my
computer have set the original hard drive to master and the new one to slave.
Have run the software that i D/L from Western Digitals website. the new Hard
drive shows up in the bios, system information and computer management. The
drive has been assigned a letter and is active but there is no icon for it in
'my computer'
Please help
Have also tried to format it through windows XP
 
Followed it step be step but still the same problem it say that the drive is
healthy and active but still no sight in my computer
