New Site will show in /index.htm but not .com. help please

My new site will show when type in www.thecommercialgrouponline.com/index.htm
but not on www.thecommercialgrouponline.com. How can I make sure that new
site is uploaded to the .com and not the .com/index.htm? Thank you. Carrie

When you specify www.thecommercialgrouponline.com your browser will open the
default page on this site. This is *not*
www.thecommercialgrouponline.com/index.htm as you can tell when you open the
latter explicitly (with the full name)

Can you check with your website provider what the default page is?

P.S. It is not good practice to reply to private addresses.

The web site must be using a different default home page. Try renaming index.htm to default.htm.

You have two distinctly different index pages, one is index.html the other
is index.htm.
You need to use the one that your host has setup as default; either .htm or
html.
