New records in FE linked table not showing up in BE table.

I have two db with several tables linked. I recently noticed that when I
enter new records in the FE table, they do not show up on the BE table.
Also, when I added new fields on the BE, they did not show up on the FE until
I tinkered with it (I can't recall what I did to finally make the new fields
show up). Please note, I am not a professional programmer but I can build a
db with the built in tools. I also re-linked the table and still the problem
persists. Can a girl get a little help? Thanks!

Hi Pilsengirl,
tables can be linked or not linked.
You have probably noticed the small blue arrow next to each linked table.
When you make changes to the BE tables, you must relink the tables with the
FE.
In the FE go to Tools | Linked Table Manager
Select all the tables, check the box for 'Always prompt for new location'
then click OK.
